Ensuring the Strongest Starts, keeping our Youth's Wellbeing at Heart

At Strongest Starts we are a relationship focused service that provides a high standard of support and accommodation for children and young people.

We offer services to both Children's Services within Local Authorities and the HM Government Home Office.

With services including Supported Accommodation and one-to-one key work support, for care experienced young people being looked after by Local Authorities, aged 16 and 17, as well as unaccompanied minors (UASC) seeking asylum in the UK; Strongest Starts offers a beacon of personalised support, assistance, innovation, and compassion.

Our goal

Is to simplify the additional challenges our young people are facing, while simultaneously empowering them to navigate the pathway towards a brighter future, installing confidence and self esteem by celebrating strengths, while ensuring their safety and risks.

Our vision

Is for every young person who comes to stay with us, to realise their aspirations and reach their full potential, whilst feeling that they're in a safe and warm environment.

Our mission

Is to empower and educate young people; subsequently preventing risk, isolation and homelessness.

We promise to

Encourage teamwork between young people and their support systems, through successful collaboration and partnerships, whilst ensuring honesty and openness at all times. This in turn will ensure ownership of work completed, words spoken and actions taken.

Our purpose is for young people to leave us feeling that they can take on the world

At Strongest Starts, our main objective is to provide an encouraging environment and well-rounded support packages, which ensure that our young people have the confidence and self-assurance to move on to live independently when they leave us.

All young people with us will be allocated a personal key worker, and day to day support will be provided in regard to several areas including; physical health, emotional well-being, education, finances, citizenship, family, reunification and any other identified needs that may arise or be underlying.

Our years of experience in the field makes our support and outcomes outstanding

The team at Strongest Starts hold a resounding strengths-based approach, moreover, due to our management's professional backgrounds within systemic practice, social work and adults social care, we are very knowledgeable and understanding of the disadvantages children and young people who are care experienced may face.

Staff hold the skill sets to encourage all young people's potential to be developed and maintained. We therefore seek to establish and maintain strong and positive partnerships with the multi-agency networks and Local Authorities involved within our young people's care, as to ensure the best well-rounded approaches and co-ordinated interventions.

Relationship based work is central at Strongest Starts

We are confident that the young people who come to live with us will be able to obtain the best experience and overall outcomes by ensuring a well collaborated and supportive approach with partner agencies.
